Metro Nashville Police are still looking for Brian Keith Leeman. Leeman is wanted for questioning in connection with his mother’s death. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Judy Moon, age 68, was found dead in her Whites Creek (Davidson County) home late last Wednesday afternoon.
On Wednesday, August 6, Police received a call from one of Moon’s friends saying that she hadn’t heard from Moon in several days.
When police arrived at the residence, despite heavily pounding on the door, no one answered. Police then forced the door open to find Moon’s body, dead as a result of at least one gunshot wound.
During a canvas of the neighborhood, her neighbors reported that they last saw Moon on Monday, July 21st. There was no report of when Leeman was last seen at the home. There was also no report of when Moon’s 2007 silver Ford Focus was last seen in the driveway.
Moon’s son, Brian Keith Leeman, 48, also lived in the home. There has been a history of domestic disputes and violence between Moon and her son.
Leeman’s current whereabouts are unknown. Police believe he may have stolen his mother’s 2007 silver Ford Focus, license plate H51 94G. There is no word on where police think he may have gone, but a nationwide Be On the Look Out (BOLO) has been issued for both Leeman and the vehicle.
If you have seen Leeman or the Ford Focus, or know where he is, please contact the Davidson County Emergency Communications Center at (615) 862-8600 or Crime Stoppers at (615) 74-CRIME.
