Why is this video going to be so successful?
For one, it was produced by the creative minds of Air New Zealand, who have proven time and again to be the leaders in making safety guides and videos.
It happens to be the first airline safety video filmed completely outside of an airplane. It was filmed along the Routeburn Track, a 32km, 2-4 day track in the southwestern corner of New Zealand's South Island and highlights Air New Zealand’s association with the Department of Conservation (DOC). As you can see, it's a beautiful part of the world.
Included were many New Zealand natives, including entomologist Ruud Kleinpaste and local animals like the Tuatara (lizard), Kia (bird), and Weta (insect).
Viewers can also participate in a Air New Zealand contest. Win The Great Kiwi Bucket List: a trip for two from anywhere in the world to New Zealand by simply tuning-in and watching the video. On Twitter, follow the #airnzbear feed.
