Man stabbed to death in Glenarden

Glenarden, Md. --- A man has died after being stabbed multiple times last night in the City of Glenarden. Police say a person of interest has been identified but need any other witnesses to step forward.

Police say officers responded to the 7900 block of Johnson Avenue just before 9 p.m. Saturday night. Officers arrived on the scene and found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a trauma center where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not released the identity of the man, pending notification to next of kin.

The Prince George's County Police Department Homicide Unit is currently questioning a person of interest, but is still seeking additional witnesses of this incident.
