Man says he was healed while watching 700 Club during prayer by Pat Robertson

On August 3, 2011, a man, Joe Cooley, was interviewed on the Christian news program “The 700 Club” and testified that he was healed from a swollen red foot during a prayer led by Pat Robertson. Cooley stated that he injured his foot last April during a bike ride and the foot swelled to twice its size and he suffered inflammation, redness and pain. Cooley, who works as a nurse, knew that the condition was cause for concern as he has a prior history of cellulitis. He stated that he had been praying about his foot then later began watching the show while preparing dinner.
Cooley stated, “I turned on “The 700 Club” which is kind of my practice when I fix supper, and Pat Robertson was praying for people.” ‘
He said that Robertson described his symptoms accurately by stating, “Somebody has a swollen foot. The swelling is like a bandage wrapped around it. God is healing you right now, in Jesus’ name.”
Cooley stated his wife told him to claim the healing which he did and the next morning he saw relief.
He stated, “The next morning, the swelling started to go down. The pain had gone down and the fever had left me and the redness started to go away.” He continued, “It took about two, three days for it to happen, but when Pat gave the special word, it started the breakthrough and started the healing practice. I’m so grateful. God changes the situation. God is all powerful; God is all caring; God meets our needs and He intervenes.”
