Maná rocks the crowd at public inaugural ball in Washington (Photos)

Maná hit the stage with a high powered performance on Monday night. While commentators who were broadcasting the inaugural balls live were wondering what music just hit the stage, the fans of Maná were rocking out during the celebration. One of the bands invited to perform, it was obvious that the fans knew who was on stage, but some of the ball attendees were scratching their heads.

Just in case Maná isn’t familiar by the readers, the Mexican rock band is from Guadalajara, Jalisco, but has had commercial success around the world. The band has an extraordinary American fan base that follows the music. While the Walter E. Washington Convention Center was rocking out, the most interesting moment on stag was when the members of the band started jumping up and down (thankfully none of them had on formal clothing.)

Take a look at the photo slideshow of Maná performing at the public inaugural ball. The band definitely was rocking out during the event.
