A former EMT, Angus Pascall, is on trial for allegedly raping a girl who was 11. This crime happened three years ago in an elevator in New York.
The child was “returning to her apartment at the Kingsborough Houses when the elevator suddenly shot down to the first floor.”
That was when “a large man got on, then the car ground to a halt — allegedly because Pascall used his fireman’s service key,” according to the New York Daily News.
DNA actually connected Pascall to five rapes from 2001 to 2010.
In court, the victim, now in ninth grade, recalled the horrendous incident. As a result, many in the court could be seen crying and could be heard swearing.
The child explained in a “baby-like” voice that Pascall placed a gun to her face and ordered her to drop her pants. Then he aimed his gun to her face.
After being raped, the girl said Pascall dressed himself and left. That was when she escaped to her apartment and called her mother, saying “Mama, I just got raped. Please come home!”
Right after the girl’s testimony, her mother testified. She stated that upon hearing of her daughter’s rape, she lost control. “I started screaming and yelling and crying . . . and I drove home running red lights like crazy.”
This mother found her child crying, holding a knife, and a frying pan.
“Jurors, eleven of them female, wiped away tears.”
