The new Warner Bros. Picture's film "Man of Steel" had its Japanese premiere at Roppongi Hills on Aug. 21, 2013, in Tokyo, Japan. "Man of Steel" was directed by Zack Snyder and stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Michael Shannon.
Gracing the red carpet premiere were director Zack Snyder, producer Deborah Snyder, Henry Cavill and producer Charles Roven.
"Man of Steel," is a reboot of the Superman franchise and tells the story of a young itinerant worker is forced to confront his secret extraterrestrial heritage when Earth is invaded by members of his race.
"Man of Steel" debuted in New York during its world premiere on June 10. It was released into U.S. theaters on Friday, June 14. The film is currently in 23rd place at the box office and has grossed over $289 million in domestic receipts. 'Man of Steel' has a rating of 56% on the popular rating site RottenTomatoes.com.
"Man of Steel" is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence, action and destruction, and for some language and has a run-time of 2 hours and 23 minutes.
