'Man of Steel' actress Amy Adams performs romantic Lois Lane scene for Jay Leno

According to Cinema Blend on Feb. 8, on a recent episode of “The Tonight Show”, Amy Adams performs a part from a classic “Super Man” scene. Adams is the next Lois Lane in this summer’s “Man of Steel”.

Adams is a lady of beauty and femininity. She chooses character roles that are smart and empowering in nature, so it’s no wonder she has reached the level of success she has. She also brings the same personality traits when doing interviews and other appearances as well. She’s even won the heart of Jim Halpert and others as the "Hot Girl" in NBC's “The Office”.

Now, she continues the carry the torch of the Lois Lane character in Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel”. Jay Leno touched on her interest in the role and she explained how as a young girl she actually wanted to be Lois Lane. She was a big fan of the movie that starred Christopher Reeve and explained how she had memorized every line from the song “Can You Read My Mind” by Maureen McGovern.

Leno asked that she perform a bit from that movie, and she delighted the audience with her talent and got a round of applause. Her singing would probably remind fans of a certain movie she starred in, Disney’s “Enchanted” with Patrick Dempsey. Most would recall her voice talent throughout the entire movie to be quite breathtaking and siren-like.

Though the slight performance was a bit impromptu and a little awkward without preparation, Adams was able to pull it off with flying colors. A recent picture of Adams as Lois Lane is also available for viewing and “Man of Steel” is scheduled to open nationwide on June 14.
