Man linked to Schenectady stabbing arraigned


Man picked up in Florida for stabbing in June in Schenectady is finally arraigned.


On June 20 Chris Clayton Sr.,43, was stabbed numerous times in the leg and chest and left to die in the middle of Craig St. in the Hamilton Hills neighborhood where he lived.

In July Florida officials picked up Corey Fallen Jr., 32 of Albany and transported him back to Schenectady to await indictment Oct. 16.


Today, the alleged murder entered a plea of not guilty in Schenectady County to the charges of second degree murder and third degree criminal possession of a weapon.


Several witnesses reported seeing Clayton and Fallen arguing before Clayton was found dead.  Fallen was sent back to jail without bail by Judge Karen Drago pending a Jan. 7 court date.
