Christopher Piantedosi, 40, was arraigned on one count of murder in a Mass. courtroom on Sept. 6 and ordered held without bail.
According to The Boston Herald, Piantedosi stands accused of murdering his longtime girlfriend, Kristen Pulisciano, 38, during a live video chat witnessed by the murder victim’s then-15-year-old daughter.
Also watching the brutal murder was a high school friend of the daughter, 16-year-old Michael Edwards.
The two teens watched horrified on the daughter’s iPad as the woman was stabbed to death.
At Piantedosi's murder trial, young Michael Edwards testified:
Piantedosi violently shook the crying, 38-year-old mother of two, saying, “You’ve got to die.”
Christopher Piantedosi was “wide-eyed” and clenching his jaw as he repeatedly stabbed his longtime girlfriend with a kitchen knife in her Burlington home.
“She was saying ‘No, Chris, stop, I love you,’ ”
The two teens watched as Kristen Pulisciano was stabbed at least 30 times.
While the May, 2012 stabbing murder was going on, Pulisciano's daughter called the police, “while a horrified Edwards watched the attack through the camera in her iPad.”
When police arrived on the scene, they found Kristen Pulisciano, bloodied, dead, and with a kitchen knife sticking out of her neck.
Piantedosi’s attorney is going to suggest that his client “did not have the mental capacity and intent to commit this murder.”
