Man killed defending wife during dream vacation in St. Lucia

Top news coming in to a warm San Francisco today is about a man who died after trying to save his wife.

Roger and Margaret Pratt had been looking forward to a dream vacation when they left the UK in June.

They wanted to get to St. Lucia and from there sail around the world but on the day they had planned to leave St. Lucia, the husband, Roger Pratt, aged 62 was attacked and killed, says the UK's Independent

There have been three suspects arrested in the case, reports Reuters

It's believed that Roger Pratt was killed on the yacht but his wife found him lying face down in the water. Details are as yet sketchy as to how he died, and it is known only that his wife was also injured. Some officials believe he was shot and a post-mortem today will identify the cause of death.
