Man in ice cream parlor holdup placed on Fall River's Top 10 Most Wanted list

A Fall River man Steven Vidinha, 33, has made the Fall River Police Department’s Top 10 Most Wanted list. How did Vidinha make this list?

He allegedly robbed three businesses in the last month.

Authorities are still searching for Vidinha who is facing charges of unarmed robbery and larceny, according to the Herald News.

“Vidinha is alleged to have robbed Tedeschi’s Food Mart, 28 East Main St., Fall River on Jan. 17; Hallmark in Somerset Plaza on Jan. 18; and Mr. Peepers Ice Cream at 170 GAR Highway in Swansea on Jan. 19.”

During those robberies, Vidinha ordered business clerks to give him money so that he would not harm them. He also kept his hand in his pocket, pretending he had a weapon.

“Vidinha also has outstanding warrants out of Brockton, Waltham and Stoughton district courts on similar robbery and larceny charges, said Fall River Police Detective J.D. Costa.”
