The changing world is reflected in many ways, from art to music to, of course, fashion. One trend that has become increasingly noticeable over the past few years is that of men wearing engagement rings, or man-gagement rings as they have come to be called.
Singer Michael Buble (pictured) sported one when he became engaged to Luisana Lopilato, an Argentine actress and model, and who hails from a country where the practice is fairly common.
With gay marriage and commitment ceremonies becoming increasingly common, that is also driving the trend as male partners look for tangible ways to express their commitment to each other.
There is also the idea of a woman asking a man to marry her, a practice occasionally referred to as "the Margaret Thatcher." With women taking more and more charge of their personal lives, they are asking their guys for their hand in marriage and offering a ring in the process.
Of course, there are also guys who think that if their lady gets to rock a fancy rock, they should be able to do the same thing in their own way.
One jeweler who has created some ideas for the man who would be open to the idea is James Allen. Click the slideshow above to see some of his best-selling rings.
