A man was found murdered inside a vacant home with boarded-up windows Wednesday afternoon in south Fulton County. And police a day later were still trying to determine who killed him and why.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office was also trying to determine the man’s identity.
The investigation began around 4 p.m. when someone clearing out the vacant home at 2300 Flat Shoals Road found the body, Fulton County police spokesman Sgt. Scott McBride said.
The man had either been shot or stabbed, he said. But police aren’t sure if the man was killed somewhere else or at the home.
And they don’t know how he or his killer got inside since there were no signs of forced entry into the home, which has a for sale sign in the yard, Sgt. McBride said.
So far, police have not found any witnesses among the neighbors who may have seen or heard anything. And though it’s unclear when the man died, police said he had been killed recently.
