Washington, D.C. -- Police still have not identified the man who was murdered in the Randle Heights Neighborhood of Southeast Washington early Friday.
Police say officers from the 7th District responded to the report of gunshots heard in the 3100 block of Buena Vista Terrace, Southeast around 12:05 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. EMS personnel arrived on the scene and found no signs consistent with life.
Police say the decedent has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner where an autopsy will be performed to ascertain the cause and manner of death.
The decedent has not been identified at the present time.
The Metropolitan Police Department offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
