Gabriel Lee voluntarily turned himself in to the Caddo Correctional Center on Friday afternoon.
A warrant for Lee's arrest was obtained by the Caddo Animal Control for the cruelty case involving the four-month-old pit bull puppy, "Braveheart," who was found, near death, inside of the abandoned storage unit.
Last Wednesday, the Caddo Parrish Animal Control seized Braveheart from his foster family as part of their cruelty investigation; a short time later, he was released to a veterinarian for care.
On Friday, Braveheart's original foster family, Ronda and Bo Spataro, officially adopted the pup.
On Saturday, TSR LA Baby Mommas, the rescue agency which originally took responsibility for the puppy, issued the following statement to their Facebook followers:
LA Baby Mommas Rescue is sooooo happy to have Braveheart back home with his furever momma & daddy, Ronda & Bo Spataro, where he will NEVER EVER suffer again!!
