Man eats heart of ex's new boyfriend: Police found cannibal dripping with blood

A man eats the heart of his ex’s new boyfriend is one shocking form of revenge chomping its way onto news headlines this morning. In an apparent act of cannibalism, a man in South Africa is being charged with killing a rival in love this week in a brutal attack, cutting out his heart, and deciding to eat it like steak with a fork and knife in hand. Canada Journal reports on the weird news incident this Friday, June 13, 2014, saying that when police finally arrived at the scene of the crime, they allegedly found the man mid-meal, with blood dripping from his mouth.

Talk about a lover’s triangle gone wrong between an old boyfriend, an ex girlfriend, and a new flame. When a man eats the heart of his ex’s new boyfriend, at least, one knows there were some major hard feelings over that breakup. A man from Zimbabwe has been recently accused of murdering the new lover of his former beau, and became a cannibal in his savage form of revenge.

Neighbors who heard the deadly event said that the 35-year-old man in South Africa was visiting his previous girlfriend, who has been identified by local authorities as Nomonde Soloshe. Yet to his anger and surprise, the cannibal suspect found his ex in the middle of an intimate moment with her new love, Mbuyiselo Manona. According to one witness:

“When we got there the man kept muttering ‘I am the king’ and declaring his undying love for the woman. He then cut the heart out and ate it before the police came and took him away.”

Perez Hilton News adds that if anything, this man who killed his ex girlfriend’s new boyfriend and ate his heart with blood dripping down has certainly earned himself the gross and unfortunately accurate title of a true “maneater.” Once police officers were phoned via an emergency call to the house, they discovered the 35-year-old man in the middle of devouring the major organ of his victim.

“On the scene they found a suspect, a Zimbabwean national, busy eating the heart of a human with a knife and fork,” police spokesman Frederick van Wyk told a national news site.

Understandably, the woman in the middle of this fatal love triangle is said to be shocked and devastated. Following the savage killing of her current boyfriend by the cannibal, the ex girlfriend was interviewed by police. She told them that her past flame had actually visited her previously that week. There seemed to be no ill will at the time, as they had talked peacefully, and he’d even given her some money to buy some alcohol.

By the time she returned home, however, she was staggered to find that he had not been waiting idly by, but actually learned that her current partner, Mbuyiselo Manona, age 62, was stabbed and killed. Neighbors alleged that they had heard the violent fight and looked through the windows of the small house only to discover that the ex boyfriend had cut out his victim’s heart and was busy eating it using a fork and knife, with blood dripping obliviously from his chin.

“The whole situation was crazy. We were shouting at him to stop, but he did not listen,” one neighbor added. “Even when the police got here… the guys were scared to go in. They had to call for back-up.
“You can’t really blame them – how do you go into a room with someone dripping another person’s blood out of his mouth?”
