Man dies on flight: Paramedics unable to save United Airlines passenger (Video)

Authorities are reportedly investigating the death of a male passenger on a United Airways flght to Salt Lake City International Airport, according to a Feb. 15 Salt Lake Tribune News report.

Salt Lake Airport spokeswoman Barbara Gann said that the unidentified man died on United Airlines flight 5596, which arrived in Salt Lake City from Denver on Feb. 10. Gann declined to comment on the circumstances surrounding the death, but said that airport police and the state medical examiner’s office were investigating the cause of death.

She did clarify however, that the passenger was not from Utah, adding that she was not sure if he was from the Denver area or just passing through.

The passenger reportedly collapsed on the plane after it arrived in Salt Lake City, United Airlines spokeswoman Jennifer Dohm said. She added that paramedics were unable to save him, but declined to comment further due to privacy reasons.
