Plenty of people call the cops or 911 for all the wrong reasons: ordering cheeseburgers, looking for a date, reporting a Bigfoot sighting, etc. etc.
Time to add Jell-O theft to that list.
The Upper Macungie Township police in Pennsylvania received a call at 11:30 p.m. Thursday night from a 39-year-old man reporting the pilfering of his strawberry Jell-O snack from the company break room, the Huffington Post reported today.
According to the police report, the man, who works at the Wakefern Food Corporation warehouse in Breinigsville, about 65 miles northwest of Philadelphia, stated "this was not the first time his food had been stolen from the refrigerator."
Wakefern owns and operates the ShopRite and PriceRite grocery chains in the Northeast.
No word yet on what other snacks have gone missing from the Wakefern break room refrigerators. According to the report, the theft "remains under investigation."
