Man buys all of Burger King's pies to spite a crying child behind him in line

There are those days when you've simply had enough and you just can't take it anymore, but are you actually going to do something about it? Well, one guy did. Deadspin reported on Aug. 7, 2014, about a tale that is making its way around Reddit and creating a hero out of one user. His story entails him buying all of the pies in Burger King so a crying child couldn't have one.

As the story goes, the user - known simply as thr111 - went into Burger King with a whopping (pardon the pun) headache. He waited in line to get some food, but his headache was made worse as a mother stood in line behind him with a crying, screaming child.

Apparently, the child continued to scream "I want some f***ing pie" at his mother over and over again.

The line for Burger King was going very slow during rush hour, according to Gawker, due to just one trainee being on the cash register. The user turned around to kindly ask the woman if her child could stop screaming. She told him not to tell her how to raise her child and got back on her cell phone.

Minutes later, the user got his turn to order at Burger King as the child screamed for pie. The user decided to take matters into his own hands. From Reddit:

All I can think of is how the people behind me ruined my splurge and gave me this headache. I then decide to ruin their day. I order every pie they have left in addition to my burgers. Turned out to be 23 pies in total, I take my order and walk towards the exit. Moments later I hear the woman yelling, what do you mean you don't have any pies left, who bought them all? I turn around and see the cashier pointing me out with the woman shooting me a death glare. I stand there and pull out a pie and slowly start eating eat as I stare back at her. She starts running towards me but can't get to me because of other lineups in the food court. I turn and slowly walk away.

The user said that he ate some of the pies, but ended up giving some to his co-workers. Not that it mattered because he had gotten his meal and deprived the child behind him of the pies he so desperately, and violently, cried out for.

Some are calling him a monster while others consider the man a hero. Either way, it made this man into a bit of a viral legend.
