Man arrested with frankincense, myrrh, and marijuana

Two days before Christmas a man was pulled over in South Carolina with frankincense, myrrh, and marijuana. Seriously -- that really happened. Although the cop stopped 19-year-old Alain Cassagnol for driving his Mercedes-Benz at 103 mph in a 45 mph zone, upon approaching the vehicle police then detected “a strong odor of marijuana emitting from his person.” When asked if he had any drugs, he readily admitted that he did and that they were stashed in his crotch area. The officer pulled a baggie containing 5.4 grams of marijuana out of Cassagnol’s pants.

Predictably, Cassagnol, a Long Island resident, was arrested for speeding and possession of marijuana. He was taken to the Horry County jail on $649 bond. Other media sources have observed that Cassagnol was an "un-wise man" -- but he's probably way more mellowed out that the original magi.

So why did he have the frankincense and myrrh on him anyway? They’re incense sprays that are part of “Blunt Block,” a product that is supposed to cover up the smell of marijuana. Hopefully Cassagnol is writing the company for a refund.
