It's sometimes best not to put anything past anyone these days, and it is cases like this one that allow that sort of thinking. The Times Picayune announced on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, that authorities in the New Orleans suburb of Metairie, Louisiana arrested a man accused of following several woman through a store while pleasuring himself in his pants pocket.
50-year-old Chang Sun of Metairie was taken into custody by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office after he was spotted by security officers inside a local Target.
Sun allegedly stalked female shoppers on the evening of Friday, Jan.18, 2013, as they went up and down the grocery aisles on the second floor of Target. A loss prevention officer at Target called police to report a man fondling himself, and around 8:00 p.m., Deputy Angelisha Wells arrived on the scene.
Sun was found walking up and down the aisles with his hand in his right pocket. Surveillance videos were viewed by Deputy Wells, and she saw Sun having his eyes locked on one woman as his hand moved back and forth inside his pocket.
Wells' report says that the suspect seemed to be "manipulating his genitals for arousal." An incident report says that Sun carefully positioned himself out of sight of the women he was following.
Upon being arrested and booked with obscene live conduct, officers found a medium-sized hole in Sun's right pants pocket. He was released on Saturday due to overcrowding at the jail.
