Man arrested after standoff with SWAT; Tebow cancels church appearance

On Thursday morning Charles MacDonald was arrested after a two-hour standoff with Dallas SWAT after threatening to commit murder/suicide.

MacDonald, 24, was pulled over initially by uniformed officers near Maple Avenue and threatened police by brandishing a large knife. He then fled to a home about three-miles away in the 5300 block of Waneta Drive where he took an unidentified person hostage and barricaded them within the house.

SWAT responded and forced MacDonald out with tear gas. According to arresting officers, the suspect was intoxicated and sources believe that his mug shot will live on in infamy.
