According to Saturday's 5 Online News, an Arkansas man who allegedly kicked a young puppy, "like a soccer ball," was arrested by a police officer who watched the cruel incident take place.

Early Saturday morning, 21-year-old Quinton Smith allegedly kicked a three-month-old puppy so hard that she flew from the ground and into a vehicle. The man, who "smelled of alcohol," was arrested by Officer Hogan, who witnessed the alleged abuse.

The police report stated:

“Quinton struck the puppy with a soccer style kick in this midsection.”

Officer Hogan arrested Smith, and the man was booked into the Washington County Jail on several charges, including animal cruelty, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
