A man in Oklahoma has been accused of murdering his stepfather with a fatal “atomic wedgie.” He allegedly cut off his stepfather’s oxygen with his own underwear.

Pottawatomie County Sheriff Mike Booth spoke with reporters and stated, “I’d never seen this before, but when we first looked at our victim seeing the waistband of his underwear was around his neck.”

Brad Lee Davis, 33 was arrested on Jan. 7 for the Dec. 21 death of his stepfather, Denver St. Clair, 58. The murder occurred after a violent confrontation took place in St. Clair’s home.

Speaking with law enforcement authorities, Brad Lee Davis reported that he and St. Clair had been drinking beers together. They then got into an argument and Denver St. Clair allegedly “came at him” which lead to punches being thrown by both men.

Davis went on to admit that he pummeled his stepfather into unconsciousness and then yanked his underwear up over his head so tightly that it left ligature marks on his neck. Investigators also found blood splatter in the kitchen, living room and on the living room ceiling.

Oklahoma state medical examiner’s spokeswoman Amy Elliott revealed that Denver St. Clair’s cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head and asphyxiation.

His death has been ruled a homicide. Davis is being held without bond in Pottawatomie County.
