Man in a tree: The Protestor at the 57th Presidential Inauguration

Monday's nationally celebrated Presidential Inauguration of President Barrack Obama'a secound term in term in office brought close to a million people onto the national Mall. During the offical police security checks set up for ticketed admittance a clear set of directions posted there would not be any signs or demonstraters allowed during the ceremony. Clearance check points missed on elderly man's intention of carrying out a single message for his political idealiology. The need to speak up for an end of abortion brought a one man into a tree with a circular sign at hand.

The mystifying appearance of how the police would manage to ask the protestor to get down was a short lived eye grabber on going moments after the speaches, and public events ended. The protestor was quiet, and clinched his sign tight atop a thin tree located near the private ticket holders seating on the US Capital lawn. With in minuets the man forced to climb back down a latter and was taken into custody. A small crowd gasped and laughed at the daring feats this man was willing to go to to get attention.

This week marks the 4oth Anniversary of the federal Row verses Wade decesion. Anti-abortion protestors have been a common sight through out Capital Hill since the summer. The graphic images that have been glued onto one small van has a usual routine to sit in front of the HHS building on Independence Ave. Knowing that one man was climbing to new heights to keep on top of the protesting world has Obama supporters shrugging. One great focl point made through out the speaches to Inagurate President Barrack Obama gave th mention of honor equal rights and seeking to find solution.
