Man, 79, robbed at gunpoint in home

York County Police are reporting an incident that happened Tuesday evening at a residence in Rock Hill. According to the police, three men who wore ski masks broke in to 79-year-old man’s home and went through the home while they held the man at gunpoint.

The York County Sheriff’s office reported the incident at 10:45 Tuesday evening.

The victim, Carl Jackson, reported to the police he was in bed asleep when the intruders came in. The three men kicked in a side door and all three had pistols.

One of the intruders held Jackson at gunpoint while the other two searched for valuables to take. They left with Jackson’s wallet with $3 in cash inside.

The only description of the men is that they are white males who were wearing dark clothes and a ski mask.

No arrests have been made as of yet and Jackson was taken to the hospital to be looked over since he suffers from multiple health issues, according to WBTV..
