A man with a history of exposing himself to females allegedly did it again, this time to a 16-year-old girl in a Henry County Wal-Mart.

On Thursday, police identified the man as 43-year-old Willie Adams. But so far, they have not been able to find him. Once captured Adams faces a charge of public indecency, which may become a felony depending on his previous charges, according to the Henry County police.

The alleged incident happened around 3 p.m. on Aug. 27 at the Wal-Mart at 5600 North Henry Blvd. in Stockbridge, Lt. Mike Ireland said. Investigators said the teen and her mother were shopping at the store when the 16-year-old wandered onto the aisle that stores school supplies. It was then that Adams allegedly approached the girl and began fondling himself, Ireland said. The man then allegedly exposed himself to the teen, Ireland said.

A short time later the teen went and told her mother what happened and the man, who apparently heard them talking, smirked and then laughed before leaving the store through the garden section, Ireland said.

The incident was reported to the police department and officers began searching for the suspect. They then learned that several other jurisdictions were searching for the man for similar incidents that happened at other stores in their area including at least one more Wal-Mart and a Dollar General, Ireland said. At least one of those jurisdictions, Waynesboro, had also issued a warrant for his arrest, the lieutenant said.

"You can tell he's really brazen, he doesn't care," Ireland said. "Who goes into Wal-Mart and do something crazy like this."

A search of Adams' criminal history shows he has a lengthy record that mostly consist of charges for similar incidents, Ireland said. The 43-year-old was out on probation for one of those crimes, he said.
