How do you rejuvenate a team that has been down lately? You bring back one of the best lacrosse players Casey Powell. The former league MVP helped deliver a win for the Colorado Mammoth Saturday night at HealthOne field at Pepsi Center. Casey Powell scored a hat trick and led in assists as the Colorado Mammoth defeated the Minnesota Swarm 14-12.

Colorado Mammoth have now won two in a row. This brings their overall wins to 3 and 5 losses for the season.

Casey Powell stole the show for the Colorado Mammoth with nine scores and six assist. The Colorado Mammoth took a quick lead but this was followed up by a Minnesota Swarm score. So far this has been the story for the Colorado Mammoth and they way they start, but then they start to lose the game in the end. Saturday night was different. In the fourth quarter Colorado Mammoth never trailed. Only at one point was the game tied. But working as a team and their fighting spirit, the Colorado Mammoth showed who was the most powerful and best team on the field that night.
