In an interview with The Manila Bulletin, Malou Santos, the believer and creator of the Sarah Geronimo-John Lloyd Cruz team up, revealed that the Star Cinema is now doing it's fourth movie for the Laida Magtalas-Miggy Montenegro love story. The interview was posted on mb.com this morning, Oct. 6, 2013 (Philippine time). According to Ms. Malou Santos, all her staff were head down when she brought up the idea of filming "A Very Special," the first movie team up of Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz several years ago.
"The Sarah-John Lloyd movie was my idea. The first time I brought it up, I said, "Let’s do a Sarah-John Lloyd movie." Everyone was quiet. I said, "Why?" "Ma'm Malou, they don't have chemistry." "What? For me, I have a different feeling." "Ma'm Malou, sorry but I think it won't earn money."
You know what I did? Personal favor, just leave it to me. I don’t know, I really don't know how to explain. I listened to the song, "Here's the theme song!" So they were able to create a story. When they were just filming "A Very Special Love," I have already thinked "You Changed My Life." I have also listened to the song, "This is the sequel!"
The director said, "Ma'm Malou, we don't have another idea. We have already given to "A Very Special Love." "Give me a week," I said. Monday, I had the chance to talk to Cathy (Garcia Molina), "I said Cathy, I know what will be your story for the next movie. The continuation of Laida and Miggy love team.
