Malls to ban pet sales across the nation

Nationwide - Amazing news has been announced via Global Animal - 70 malls across the United States plan to ban the sale of pets within the next 30 days.

This incredible change of policy was spear-headed by Jennifer Peterson - an animal activist.

Peterson took up the cause after a close friend purchased a puppy from a pet store - not surprising, the puppy became sickly.

Peterson began to delve into the world of puppy mills and was sickened by what she discovered.

Thankfully, Peterson had connections - one of whom was the VP of leasing for Macerich Shopping Centers - Randy Brant.

Though the individuals who are ingrained in the world of rescue are all too familiar with the deplorable conditions found in puppy mills - those outside of that circle are sadly ignorant to what happens at this facilities.

The VP of leasing was no exception - when he learned of what happens there, he was appalled.

Peterson, Brant and Brant's wife formed a powerful team - together they lobbied to stop the sale of puppy mill puppies in malls, and begin a change to adoption centers which will feature rescued animals instead.

Their efforts have paid off and these ground-breaking changes are well underway.

Peterson's efforts prove that everyone can make a difference - a tremendous, life changing difference.
