Malia Obama joined sister Sasha and mother Michelle to climb dozens of steps of the relatively uncrowded Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China. According to Us magazine via Yahoo! on March 25, all of the Obama women were dressed to handily take on this seminal Asian exercise, a strenuous activity that can be tricky in spots and that definitely calls for comfortable shoes and loose clothing.
The Obama group's descent was a bit easier, as the trio decided to duck photographers by taking a handy toboggan down from the top of the Great Wall.
That said, this wasn't the only Chinese travel attraction the women in President Obama's life visited on this particular day. The women of his clan also took in the legendary Forbidden City, modeling for photos while looking cool, calm, and collected.
Throughout the trip, Malia, Sasha and Michelle Obama -- who have been on a goodwill tour of China with Michelle's mom, Marian Robinson -- were top rate in representing our nation. In total, the four famous females will visit three cities in seven days to participate in what is being called a cultural and educational exchange.
Monday was the fourth day of this tour of China during which time Michelle Obama tripped the light fantastic with traditional dancers on the City Wall in China's central Shaanxi province while First Daughters Malia Obama and Sasha Obama watched their mom with admiration and pride.
After their travels take the Obama women all over China on this whirlwind March tour, the quartet will return stateside to Washington, D.C. on March 26.
