The Malaysia Airlines flight crashed into the southern Indian Ocean, hundreds of miles from land and there is no hope for any survivors. Malaysia Prime Minister confirmed the worst fears of the passengers. He said British satellite revealed that the plane ended its baffling eight hour flight in the deep Indian Ocean.

Ships rushed to the location of floating objects spotted Monday by Australian planes in the southern Indian Ocean close to where multiple satellites have detected possible remains of the lost Malaysian Airliner.

Malaysian authorities have not ruled out any possible explanation for what happened to the jet, but evidence suggests it was turned back across Malaysia to the Strait of Malacca with communications systems disabled. They are unsure what happened next and are considering the possibilities of hijacking, sabotage, terrorism or issues related to the mental health of the pilots.
