Who doesn't love the smooth creaminess of whipped cream? Unfortunately for people who suffer from lactose related illnesses, the joy of relishing whipped cream is only a dream. This doesn't have to be the case any longer. At Casa de Cuisine we have devised a faux whipped cream. It is just as smooth and creamy as the real deal, yet contains no dairy products or lactose.

This lactose-free version of whipped cream contains only three ingredients and can be made in only a matter of minutes. You will be able to use it just as you would whipped cream. You can spread it over a freshly baked cake or pipe it on your favorite pie. However you would use freshly whipped cream, you can use this Faux Whipped Cream.

Now, due to the fact this is totally dairy-free, it will not have the same taste as whipped cream. This is also a great version of whipped cream for those watching their calorie intake or dieting. As is the Casa's way, this Faux Whipped Cream is 100% natural.

Ingredients needed to make Faux Whipped Cream:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 Tbs. sugar (or more to taste)
  • 3 bananas, mashed

Steps:

  1. Into a mixer with the whisk attachment, beat the egg whites and sugar until stiff peaks form.
  2. Add the mashed bananas and continue to beat until well combined and thickened (just like a whipped cream).
  3. Use the Faux Whipped Cream as you would real whipped cream.
