The resolutions are flying through social media at lightning speed, but how many of you lonely hearts are truly determined to make this year count? It's time to get serious and start sending out the right signal to those much desired soul mates. The year is 2013 and if you haven't gotten the love you desire yet, if you've been doing things your way, there is only one question to ask yourself: how's that working out for you? Are you tired of it yet? Are you fed up with yourself and your excuses yet? You should be. Your happiness and love life is completely in your own hands. Let's get rid of the excuses, and get you that love you deserve this year, shall we?
It's time to take an active part in how your story turns out. This is no time to wallow in your victim mentality that keeps you alone at night. Until you clean up your heart and life, there is simply no room for anyone else in it. When you ride a two-seater roller-coaster, it’s very obvious if there is someone next to you. Having an unfinished life and heart is just as obvious. Prospective mates have instinctive radar for when you are still under renovation. So how do you clear out that space you’d like your soul mate to fill?
Clear out the ridiculous parts of your life that are wasting your time, energy and vitality. Then you take back your power. By not kidding yourself about the bad decisions you’ve made and resolving to make better ones. It’s not easy, and you have to get really honest with the one person you cannot lie to: the person staring back at you in the mirror. You cannot lie to yourself. Being honest about what you ARE is how you begin to fix yourself, and become who you’d like to BE.
Everyone wants to feel like they have scored a “10” in a mate, but you’ve got to be that “10” who is worth getting introduced to your future mother-in-law. All of the nonsense must stop. You cannot act like a “3”, dragging your feet about growing up, and think that someone wants to bring you into their family. Much less, make it permanent, and legal.
Making a list of all the dating descriptives you’ve ever been called, or thought you were on a piece of paper is a great way to gauge what you’ve got to work on. By eliminating those character flaws, you are actively sending out signals to the Universe that you are making room for the love you want. If you are willing to invest everything you’ve got into finding love, this year can be the one where you find “the one”. It’s time.
