These famous writers have been chosen because their literature is read as a part of the curriculum in English Language Arts. These quotes are a great way to introduce these writers and their writings to students prior to reading their literature. By incorporating these quotes into educational learning, it encourages students to want to get involved in researching the writers and their writings. On a very positive note, being able to do research is a part of Common Core. Common Core is essential to education in preparing students to be college and career ready. In addition, Valentine’s Day is one of the most celebrated occasions around the world. By making it apart of learning, it allows the students to celebrate it educationally.
