This is a goal of mine - make a t-shirt quilt. Actually, I want to make several of them! I'm very ambitious, I know! But I have a friend who wants me to me her one and I want to make one for myself plus I want to make some with my kids shirts. So there are several I want to make!
I know how to quilt and have made a few quilts of various sizes. But I knew there were different things needed to be done to make a t-shirt quilt. Not too many different things, but some. I'm a video person - I like to see people making things. So I went online and watched several different videos regarding making a t-shirt quilt. I found a great online tutorial and I have to share!
Quilt Addicts Anonymous has a FABULOUS tutorial for making a t-shirt quilt. Stephanie has created ten separate tutorial videos going through each step of making a t-shirt quilt. The sound is good, the video is good and the instructions are great! There's a list of supplies needed and she shows you have to use the supplies. Even tells you to grab some JoAnn's coupons before leaving the house! That's my kind of girl!
I would highly recommend watching her videos if you are interested in making a t-shirt quilt. The thing I like is the instructions are generic, but you can totally change up the layout or design of the quilt and still use her instructions to make it work. That rocks!
Be sure to check out her website and let her know how you found her. I've made sure to pin this so I know where to go after I have all my supplies to make my quilts!
