As March’s Dine Around Seattle comes to a close, another opportunity for discounted dining beckons the gastronomically inclined or curious: Seattle Restaurant Week.
Operated by the non-profit Seattle Restaurant Cooperative, Seattle Restaurant Week features ten days of three-course $28 dinner and $15 lunch opportunities from 150 Seattle and Eastside restaurants.
How it works
April 10-14 and 17-21st (Sundays through Thursdays) head over to one of the 150 participating restaurants. In addition to the regular menu, each restaurant will feature a three-course menu – appetizer, entrée and dessert - for $28 for dinner. Some restaurants also offer $15 three-course lunch menus. Reservations are recommended.

Recommendations
If you haven’t yet, this is the perfect time to try Luc (get the burger if it’s offered), Bastille, Lark, Restaurant Zoe or one of the many participating newcomers. You can also get another helping of Tom Douglas’s coconut cream pie at Palace Kitchen, wallow in the creativity of Maria Hines at Tilth or her recently opened second restaurant – Golden Beetle. If its sushi, you’re after, Shun and Kisaku are both worthy choices.
The list of participating restaurants is an embarrassment of riches. For my part, I’m hoping to finally try out Canlis, Toulouse Petit Kitchen & Lounge, and Olivar and when I do will post my reviews here.
Which participating restaurants do you want to try out? And which do you recommend to others?
