Pre-cut craft foam circles can be found in the craft aisle at the dollar store. They come in a multi-pack of numerous colors. There are 24 circles in the pack, so at $1, they will be less than .05 each. Also needed for this craft are bottles of gold, silver, and bronze paint that cost about $1 each at the craft store. If you would like to add some extra shine and shimmer, metallic glitter can also be found at the dollar store in multi-packs.

Paint the foam circles with the metallic paint. You may need to paint on more than one coat for complete coverage. While the paint is wet, sprinkle on the glitter, so it will adhere to the medal when dry. Allow the paint to fully dry, before moving on to the next step. Once dry, punch a hole in the craft foam using a hole punch. Use your favorite ribbon or yarn to finish the medal.
