One may think that their dreams are hard to obtain especially living in a small town like Omaha. But if one looks hard enough they will be able to find their dreams in their own backyard. The Omaha Community Playhouse Theatre is offering seasonal six week long classes as well as summer camps! There are classes for both adults and youth; The spring session starts this week and it includes classes for acting such as, Acting I, II and III, Dialects and Character Voices and Voice Over. If one likes to dance than look no further, the theatre is also offering both jazz and tap classes at two different levels.
One nice thing about any of the classes is that the classes may be repeated as often as one would like in order to maintain their acting and dancing skills. The classes range anywhere from $70.00 to $80.00, which is an awesome price! If that is still out of one's price range than look into the summer camps that start in June. Most of the classes are around $45.00 and the classes last for a month. These classes differ a little from the seasonal classes. Here you will find, Theatre Dance Boot Camp, Audition Techniques, Comedy Camp, Musical Theatre Dance Camp, Create Your Own Movie and more!
If one is not an artistic person but would like to help make dreams come true there is hope. The theatre also accepts donations which is a great way to help out. If one enjoys watching the theatre instead of being a part of it.
