Calling all pups and pets who want to be stars! Art-Casso has announced an online video contest where pups have the opportunity to win $500 plus a matching donation to the animal non-profit of their choice. The steps are easy: purchase an Art-Casso paint kit, currently at a discount, create a video of your pup (or other pet) creating art with it, through paw and body painting, and post it on Art-Casso’s Facebook page.
One minute or less long videos are being accepted from January 21 through March 11 to be judged by Art-Casso president Joanna Sasso, New York City’s own Celebrity Pet Style Expert Charlotte Reed and Givenik Marketing Associate Ben Cohen. “Judges will determine the winner based on pet and owner interaction, creativity of the video and how the duo best highlight the essence of the non-mess paint kit” according to Art-Casso president, Joanna Sasso.
The Art-Casso event, which has been featured at Charlotte Reed's Pet Socialite Events and the NYC Pet Show, is a hit with dog owners because of its easy, no mess way to create paintings using things your pup does naturally, like walking and wagging.
This is an opportunity for dog owners to bond with their pups (or other pet) through creating art together. Three finalist, announced on March 15, 2012, will be featured on Art-Casso’s Facebook page where Facebook users will be able to vote for their favorite video.
