Here are the steps for making the glittery heart ornament.

Step 1:

Draw a heart shape on a piece of cardboard, and then cut it out with scissors.

Step 2:

Wrap the heart shape in a tiny bit of tin foil.

Step 3:

Make the glitter glue by mixing a couple of tablespoons of glue with glitter in a disposable container.

Step 4:

Place the heart shape on newspaper, and use the paint brush to coat it with several layers of glitter glue.

Step 5:

Allow the heart form to dry for several hours.

Step 6:

Paint on a layer of glitter paint to add more shine, and to secure the large glitter flake from the undercoats of glitter glue.

Step 7:

Let the glitter paint layer dry over night.

Step 8:

Use a large-eye needle to poke a hole in the heart ornament, and then use the needle to pull a five inch strand of ribbon half way through the hole.

Step 9:

Create a hanger for the ornament by tying off the ribbon, and then hanging it from a hook on the wall or a tree.

Here are the steps for making the glittery stocking ornament.

Step 1:

Draw the shape of a Christmas stocking on a piece of junk mail.

Step 2:

Put the stocking form on newspaper, and then apply a couple of layers of glitter glue.

Step 3:

Let the glitter glue dry on the stocking ornament for several hours.

Step 4:

Apply a couple of layers of glitter paint to the stocking to make it more shimmery.

Step 5:

Allow the stocking to dry overnight.

Step 6:

Add decorative squiggles to the top of the stocking ornament with red and green glitter pens. Allow these to dry completely

Step 7:

Use a needle to poke a hole in stocking ornament, and then insert the ornament hanger through the hole.

Step 8:

Place the ornament on a Christmas tree, or simply hang on the wall to make a small apartment or living space a bit more festive.
