Make the next Dunkin' Donut contest

Few things are more fundamentally Bostonian than Dunkin Donuts. The first location opened 60 years ago in Quincy, MA, the corporate headquarters is just a stone's throw away in Canton, and I'm fairly certain that within Boston city limits, it's illegal to ever be further than 100 yards from the nearest Dunkie's at any given time. I'm absolutely certain that I can name no fewer than six store locations within half-a-mile, and that number goes up to 8 if I include the outposts in gas stations.

So as a good Bostonian, it's almost your duty to participate in Dunkin Donut's 2nd annual "Create Dunkin's Next Donut Contest." The process is simple - using the online "donut creator," you choose the best shape, batter, filling, and toppings for your ideal donut...and then keep your fingers crossed that one day you'll be eating it at the seven locations nearest you.

Get your entry in by March 8th and you stand to win $12,000 - that's a lot of krullers, FYI - as well as the best bragging rights any Bostonian could ever hope to attain.

Contest runs through March 8 and can be found here, or by accessing Dunkin Donut's website.
