Surprises await visitors to Walt Disney World in 2013 with their new Limited Time Magic program starting Dec. 30, 2012 and running throughout the year. A mix of dance parties, new menu and merchandise items, character meet-and-greets, pop up concerts, and more will appear for a week or less.
Disney plans to use social media to engage visitors and release the scoop on Twitter, their blogs and websites. There will be options for interacting too, guests can vote on which characters they would like to see, engage in scavenger hunts and other magical events.
Each week will feature a new theme and the first one is celebrating the New Year. Tomorrowland will be the host of the Bling in the New Year Dance Party. Live entertainment will perform on the Rockettower Plaza stage, Disney Characters will be there dancing in their New Year's Eve best and the countdown to New Year's will take place every hour so guest of all ages can enjoy. The Bling in the New Year Dance Party will only be around until Jan. 5, 2013
Disney will release a "Limited Time Magic" ear hat to coordinate with the various themes. Each month there will be a new and fun design. Buy one on your Disney vacation and show off your love of the mouse and celebrate the "Year of the Ear."
