Of all the magical gifts Mother Nature has provided us, perhaps it is the Agave plant that truly gets my admiration. After all, agave is responsible for the sweet, sweet nectar that is tequila and tequila is the main ingredient in a Margarita...and a Margarita is the best alcoholic libation around (in my humble opinion, of course).
So, what if I told you that this Saturday (8/6), amidst this hot summer heat and humidity ( and threat of a tropical storm), a Margarita Fest would be held in Downtown Orlando? What would you say if I told you that for $20, you could drink all the margaritas you wanted right in the middle of Wall Street Plaza? You'd believe me, right? I generally don't joke when it comes to tequila.
"What about food?," you may ask. No worries, for just $10 more, you can hang out on the "High End Tequila Terrace" at Monkey Bar and indulge in snacks while you quench your thirst with unlimited shots and tastings of specialty and high-end tequila.
If sipping on margaritas all day isn't your thing, don't worry. Straight tequila tastings are available as well.
Live reggae music will be provided by the 506 Crew and Khamelien for those who want a little drinking/dancing music.
The block party lasts from 4pm - 7pm. Put on your coolest (because it feels like 106 degrees outside) outfit and get ready to party at the "Best Margarita Party in Orlando."
