MAKE Motorsports is making its return to NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition, and its bringing a veteran Truck Series driver along for the ride -- Rick Crawford. Crawford will drive a No. 50 Chevrolet for the team Friday night in the Nextera Energy 250 season opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.
"I'm really excited to be racing this weekend," Crawford said. "I always love racing at Daytona."
Crawford has more starts than any other driver in Truck Series competition with 336. Those races have produced five wins, including a victory at Daytona in 2003.
The Nextera Energy 250 is scheduled to get underway just after 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday. The race can be seen live on SPEED Channel, with prerace coverage beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
