Make money cooking for someone

What will you serve your client tonight?

Could you use some extra income?  Do you love to cook?  If you answered yes to both questions you may want to consider turning your love for cooking into a lucrative part-time job.  You could soon be earning some extra money by cooking for someone!

There are many people who need a personal cook... working parents, elderly people, people who can't cook, busy people, lazy people, rich people! Somewhere there is someone who needs your services. All you have to do it make a plan then sell your goods. It's easier to do than you think.

Come up with some menu ideas that you think would serve your community well. If you live in an area bursting with business professionals then you need to cater to their needs by offering healthy meals they can eat on the run. If you are in a family oriented neighborhood then you may want to plan family meals that mom or dad can pop into the oven at their convenience. Think it out and figure it out. Ask around to see what others think. Soak in all the ideas and make a plan!

Get the word out that you are willing to cook for others. Tell everyone you know. Make flyers, print up some business cards, ask your local newspaper to write a press release about you, spread the word online. If you can nail down even one happy client you can soon expect the word of mouth to get you another job, and another, and another.

What you charge for your service is up to you. But here's the secret to quick success... charge as little as you can in the beginning. It's the easiest way to get your first client. Tell them it's a special deal as a trail basis. Then if they like your services the price will go up to a predetermined amount.  Once they realize how badly they need you they will never know how they managed without you!
