Make homemade watercolor paint for your child, cheap craft recipe, frugal mom

You can quickly and easily make watercolor paint for your child using just three ingredients: water, food coloring and cornstarch!

 

Start by adding about one half teaspoon of cornstarch in any small container. The little containers that hold sides of catsup or tarter sauce are perfect. You can also use the lid of a jar.

 

Add just a bit of water and stir. Keep adding water a drop at a time until it turns to liquid. Then add a drop of food coloring. That's all there is to it!

 

Sanford Shopping Tip!!!  Run to Family Dollar in Sanford and pick up some tiny plastic containers to store your homemade paints. They are little square plastic containers with white lids.
