It is hard to believe that in this modern world and a country as wealthy as ours, their are families without jobs, homes, or the necessary everyday essentials. Among them there are hundreds of children with life threatening ailments, whose paretns do not have the money to pay for the medical help they need. Thanks to one institution - St Jude Children's Research Hospital these children can receive the medical car, regardless of whether their parents can pay or not. No one has ever had to pay to receive medical care at St Jude.

In 1962 the late entertainer "Danny Thomas", fulfilled a promise he made while down on his luck, and opened the doors of St Jude Children's Research Hospital. This changed the lives of children far into the future, even to this day in 2013. No child has ever paid to be treated at the first and only pediatric cancer center, which the National Cancer Institute says, " is the most comprehensitive Cancer Center" and over the 53 years the Cancer Center has been operating many companies have donated part of the proceeds from purchases made by their customers.

Target which has been a supporter of St Jude for many years is again having their Charity Drive through it's "Thanks and Giving Program". 100% of the retail price, not to including the sales tax, of every 'St Jude Holiday Bullseye' being sold at 14.99, will be donated to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, to help in the fight against cancer.

There are many more stores that are part of the St Jude "Thanks and Giving Program", here are a few you can contact to get the details .
