Make a Prada-inspired multicolor faux fur wrap

Brightly dyed and multicolored faux fur represent the newest trend in fur this winter. You can easily brighten up your winter wardrobe with a Prada-inspired faux fur wrap using a tutorial from Judy Aldridge at Atlantis Home.

Aldridge purchased brightly colored and mixed colored fur from Distinctive Fabric for under $30 a yard. She pieced together the fur to create a strip that was 11 inches wide by 96 inches long, allowing for a 1/2 inch seam allowance. She then pieced together a satin lining of the same length and width.

Aldridge placed the fur and satin together, wrong sides out and sewed, leaving an opening to turn the wrap right side out. She then stitched the opening shut.
